Hello all!

We just finished moving the SH server to a new hosting box. In doing so it became necessary to update to the latest source code. This will certainly bring a number of a nice fixes to the server.

However, as with any major update, there are bound to be issues where some older content/quests/whatever may not work correctly.

So please if you notice something significantly broken just make a quick post in this thread. Try to provide as much detail as you can and we will try and address it as time permits.

Haha I don't think Akkadius gets all the credit for the source code! That is ALOT of different peoples contributions.

But he does facilitate the hosting and helped us get everything transferred smoothly. So we do owe him a thanks.

[*]It appears that veteran reward AAs are gone (Lesson of the Devoted etc)

Zones
New[*]Drunder, Fortress of Zek (T5 Plane of Tactics) crashed on 4/3/18 at 2139 PST while fighting a trash mob in Rallos' pit.

Mobs:
[*]Two Protector of Dresolik in Sol Ro spawned two at once.
Still Broken[*]Battlemaser - He begins normally, but after spawning 3 boxes, he stops spawning any more boxes. The worm ladies still spawn the adds as normal. Not fixed. He eventually starts spawning boxes in front of him which immediately despawn/die. This only happens when he is on the Right side (player perspective). The rate at which boxes are spawned is also down. Boxes also stop dealing damage on him. BM was stuck at 79% with boxes sliding through him. [Def found problem as described and fixed it. Let me know if any further issue]
[*]King in Dranik - Discordling pets at the beginning warp back to their spawn points without dropping agro or healing once before dying. [Kayen - Disabled what was causing this.]
New[*]Zun in Dranik takes very little damage from a pet with the swords. Took 17 minutes to get him down 3%. He then regened faster than my Solteris pet could damage him. [I messed that up when rewriting it, working again]

Spells

New[*]Shaman Solteris pet is casting the same level of spells as the Dranik pet, except for the STA buff which is actually lower. Let me know if you need additional information.


[*]Manablast broken? It seems to cast Cure corruption.
[*]Not sure why, but Knorgar and Porgar somehow had undead froglok pets. They seemed to spawn after being hit in the Prismatic section of the Nest. Froglok Curse spell?

Miscellaneous
[*]Something is fizzling when hailing Kate.
[*]Wizards - Gelidran Avalance typo


Fixed Pending Verification
[*]Two Gods Solteris - Form 2 (Mayong of Solteris or whatever) never connects a normal hit. He only kicked occasionally. [Please verify, but I am pretty sure I fixed the issue - Kayen]

Fixed Bugs

[FIXED] Dranik - Zun'Muram Tkarish Zyk - I am now unable to open this door with any character.
[Fixed][*]While farming for the swords, the Inquisitors and the dead Ritualists respawned. Zun did not reset (he just kept flailing away). I was able to kill Zun. The event mobs remained up.
[Fixed]- Many spells share a timer now. Ones I've found so far that I *believe* did not previously are:
Paladin
[*]Listed as "Timer 2"

[Fixed] Globe of Discordant Energy gives no stats. [Dev Note: see perl event export table]
[Fixed]The Maw of Menagerie - Cannot get Ice Lance
After turning in the 9 runes into the rune circle you are still not able to receive the Ice Lance. The statue does not respond to "Inspect" or "Remove" as prompted. P.S. Asking for GM help on this for Lorgar and Porgar :).
[Fixed]Turning in scrolls does not grant you the spell. Talking to the red skelly in the GL also does not teach it.
[Fixed]I had my toons click boots and then Ice Lance on Ragnar. This causes the zone to crash.
[Fixed]Ragnar at 40% moves normally to his place. He is not agroed and doesn't attack or spawn adds. After a certain number of hits, he warps far away and paths back. Rinse and repeat....Until the zone dies again. Definitely Ice Lance related, not .mac related.
[Fixed] Hailing Avatar of Zek zones you back into the GL by the Guk flag. Edit: Was probably still spinning up.

Fixed a major issue that would have affect many quests/events ect.

I suspect the rest of the issues above should be fixed now.

Spells are yet linked for Pally I tested them yet do it if use one times out rest in a series say group heals for one.

Bug: Archers Rally Call and Bowmans Rally Call are on the same timer now
This must be like the pally heal bug. The 2 spells share the same timer now

Bug: #mystats
Access level not high enough to use this command. The new source allows you to see your stats but you can't see your pet stats.

Bug: TGB - Target Group Buff
Using haste from enchanter's raid helm doesn't work on other groups
Clerics Aegolism also doesn't work on other groups so I think it is related to raid armor clicks on other groups

- Fixed Significantly increased the duration on all the twin cast clicks

Bug: Twincast for healing and spell damage last 3-4mins
The buffs for twincast use to last for 3 hours but now only last 3 mins.
This is on both healer and dps items like: (healing twincast and chaotic twincast)

Arcanascythe was getting resisted and Atrophy was seeing "mob dodges spell" They would eventually land but take a lot of cast.
Arcanascythe is skill type "none" and atrophy is cast type "offense"
I don't know if the odd casting types affected the odds of it landing. I know they were these types before the source change because I rmemeber not being able to cast the offense one when I was doing a fight that drained my stamina. It used stmaina to cast and not mana.


Bug: Enchanter AA - "Project Illusion" does not work on raid members
This might be more of it is working the way it is suppose to. I use to beable to use this AA on someone in my raid but I know the AA states "group member"
It use to also last on the target (group member) after zoning but it fades after zoning now.
Again it may be working as intended. If so just say so and I will mark it off.

Issue with pets not responding to say commands is resolved.

Other scripts also fixed due to same problem.

- Maestro in Solteris
- Ice Lance related quest stuff in MirB and MirC
- Various quests/tasks in SOD
- Other misc things.

The issue where spells would share same cool down has been resolved for classes/spells.

Note, this was not really a bug. The code in source was just finally added and spells that were SUPPOSE to have shared cool down timers now worked properly. Obviously since no spells on Storm Haven were designed to share timers here I just updated our spell file to essentially just disable it.

can you consider removing the stun effect from this aug:

since stun doesnt work (rather gets resisted for good reason)
but since it gets resisted it doesnt proc the benefits. Augs and effects like this use to proc but would just not stun but now it is getting resisted outright.

ty. I dont know how many items that affects across the board (the stun change) but I would assume putting in a code to change stuns so they just wont trigger or something to that nature would mess up aggro for some classes.

Hopefully in the grand scheme it wont be an issue for other augs/weps

Some things I noticed over the past few days:

- nest t4 aerth mara: adds proc debuff that has invulnerability on you and you cannot click it off
- nest 2 yormungand: insta-kills pets when they get into melee range like it does players
- FC beast pet: used to hit around 2200-3200 now hits around 1500-2400
- FC mage pet: used to hit around 2000-3000 now hits around 1600-2600

- can no longer coth member that is not in the same group while in raid
- I had somewhere around 8-9k chronobines and 9-10k kuuanite stones in my bank, neither display how many are in a stack and I cannot click on them

- you can have Blessing of Resolve RK.III and Aura of Resolve RK.III on at the same time when previously one would overwrite the other

- For some reason my pets seem to deactivate the run speed buff from my bards Selo's when I tell them to attack a target and casually walk to the target instead of bum rushing them at lightspeed.

For the pet numbers it was with standard beast/mage pet buffs on, I cant remember non-buffed values pre-update offhand. They are considerably weaker now, the beast pet was almost losing out to the goblin blackguard monster merc when I was testing in the arena.

Bummy. There were a number of source code changes as to how melee % damage increase buffs stacked with each other . I highly suspect that is the source of the issue.
I will run some tests though since im really not certain of it. Will figure something out
to improve it.

Hmm I am going to guess that proc was never working before. I remember it was always designed that way, i guess when i fixed the scripts I also fixed that. I will prob just remove it then.

I dont think you could do this on live. I am going to assume this was a bug that just got fixed. I can potentially write a custom quest script to override it i think, would be pretty hack job though.

No idea on that issue. It is likely client related. I can try and GM delete them and replace them.

Source code related. I doubt it actually stacks the effect though.

Sounds source code related. Would have to do real testing myself to see whats going on.
